Welcome to Battle Creek Elementary

Our school is nestled along Battle Creek Regional Park. The wooded hills, trails and wetlands provide a unique opportunity for students to learn firsthand about Minnesota’s many natural resources. We emphasize hands-on learning by using the peaceful forest and groomed trails of the park for activities ranging from pond studies to nature walks. In addition to core subjects, students have opportunities in music, physical education and science. Learn more...

Programs and Classrooms at BCE

We offer pre-K through fifth grade education. The three main programs at our school include Regular Education, Autism, and The Learning Center. Many staff members support specialty areas for any special needs in education.

Early Childhood Family Education

Battle Creek Elementary and Saint Paul Early Childhood Family Education offer parent and early childhood education for families with children between birth and kindergarten age.

Out of School Time Collaborative

We offer the Out of School Time Collaborative program for students in grades K-5. The program teams up with local organizations to provide enrichment classes, as well as Extended Day Learning.

Parents and Community

Our Parent Group is committed to working with parents, teachers, children, and the community in order to provide an environmentally minded, quality, safe, and nurturing place in which to educate our children.
