      The Pyramid of Giza
 
The great pyramid of Giza was the oldest pyramid ever recorded. But The Pyramid of Giza is not its only name. It’s also named the Khufu’s Pyramid, Pyramid of Khufu, and the Pyramid of Cheops. Have you heard the Pyramid of Giza was the tallest man made structure for the last 3,800 years. The pyramid you use to be really smooth but ever since it has been abandoned its been falling apart. But, since some of it has fallen off now we can see that it’s made from huge boulders.

    Now, lets talk about the inside. The pyramid has three chambers. There was the lowest one, which looked like it has never been finished. Then there’s the king and queen chamber. It is the highest chamber. It has said that no one can enter besides the king and queen of the pyramid. Those who enter have to face a horrible curse. There is still one more chamber. Scientists are not sure, but there are several theories that it was the torture chamber. Those who disobey the king and queen must face a horrible death.

    The statue of Zeus is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
This seated statue of Zeus is 12 meters tall or 39 feet high, he is made of ivory and gold-plated

He is holding a mini statue of Nike, the goddess of victory he also has a gold scepter on which an eagle stood people think he is holding the mini statue of Nike is because of the victory over Macedon, someone said if you look at the statue of Nike you would forget all of your earthly troubles.

    In second century CE (current era) a traveler named Pausanias recorded a very detailed description of Zeus’ statue, olive shoots were on Zeus’ sculpture and his throne had ivory, gold, ebony, and stones inlaid on it.
 
    The creator of the real statue of Zeus was a man named Phidias, he may have made it in 432 BCE (before current era). Phidias had a legend that he climbed Mount Olympus to see Zeus or another legend that Zeus came down to see him, but both are fiction.
    It is a great statue to go see.

died unexpectedly at the age of 32.The lighthouse of Alexandria was one of the longest to survive out of the seven wonders of the ancient world. People built a barrier around the lighthouse so that the waves won’t pound on the walls. After the lighthouse sunk archeologists sent a nova program underwater to find the lighthouse. There was an exact
copy of the lighthouse in the Window world. Pharos a small island was just off the coast of Alexandria. A traveler named Jubayr visited the city in 1183.People have found some remains of the lighthouse at the bottom of Alexandria’s eastern harbor in 1994. The roman coins shot by the Alexandrian mint show to show that there was a statue of Triton on each of the four sides of the lighthouse.

THE HANGING GARDENS OF BABYLON

    The Hanging Gardens of Babylon is in Iraq. Seven wonders of the world was built bye

Nebuchadnezzar around 600 BCE. The Hanging Gardens is also called the Hanging Gardens of Semiramis. Going up to the top is like climbing up a mountain. Each terrace rises up from the last like syrinx, the wall that was built at the Hanging Gardens of Babylon were twenty-six feet deep.  The galleries were roofed with stone balconies.
The Garden was 100 feet (30m) long bye 100 feet (30 m) wide.  The Gardens is filled with over 50 stair steps. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon is also called the Seven Wonders of the World.  The Hanging Gardens of Babylon is a quadrangular in shape. For the river, a stadium width, flows through the middle of the city and the garden is on the bank of the river. The stairs are made out of ascent terrace=roofs. The roofs of the vaults which supported the garden were constructed of stone beams and some were sixteen feet long, and over the layered walls were laid first a layer of reeds set in thick tar, then two courses of baked brick bonded by the moisture in the soil penetrating the roof.
