Curriculums
Teachers receive training in the specific curricula they are responsible for teaching. They use these curricula—along with the associated daily scope and sequence—to guide instruction, ensure lesson consistency, and support student learning across all subject areas.
Reading - Comprehension:
Our kindergarten - 5th grade teachers use Fountas & Pinnell reading curriculum.
Math:
Our kindergarten - 5th grade teachers use HMH Math curriculum. A portion of this curriculum uses independent practice assignments based on the lesson provided from the teacher while the other portion is differentiated activities at the students' levels.
Writing:
Our kindergarten - 5th grade teachers use the Step Up To Writing curriculum.
Reading - Foundational Skills:
Our kindergarten - 2nd grade teachers use UFLI lessons to provide a science of reading approach to learn how to read.
Our 3rd - 5th grade teachers use FIRE lessons to teach grammar, spelling patterns, and morphology.
