My name is Mary Simmons and 2025-2026 will be my 30th year teaching in SPPS.  I have also taught 5th grade, 2nd grade and 1st grade.  This year will be my 23rd year teaching kindergartners.  I live in Eagan with my husband, Kirk, and Pepper, our Humane Society rescue dog.  When I am not at work, I enjoy seeing live comedy performances and watching movies with friends.  I look forward to helping kindergarten students experience how fun and exciting learning can be!
