Staff Profile

I am thrilled to be teaching here in St. Paul Public Schools, A lifelong St Paulite, I started school as a kindergartener at Groveland Park Elementary and graduated with a GED from St Paul. I later graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. Degree in Child Psychology and M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education. I have taught in other districts in the metro area but returned to St Paul because I am impressed with the Discovering Our World curriculum developed by the Office of Early Learning. The philosophy of SPPS matches my career philosophy in regards to family engagement and racial equity.
