Staff Profile

Hello! I’m so excited to be teaching third grade at Battle Creek Elementary, where I've been since 2021. I truly believe that for learning to happen, students first need to feel safe, valued, and represented within the classroom. I make it a priority to weave student choice into our daily routine and ensure every voice is heard!

I'm a proud University of Minnesota alum, having earned both my undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education there, along with minors in Racial Justice in Urban Schooling, TESL, and Family Social Science. Outside of school, my husband and I live in Hopkins with our two dogs, Lambeau and Remi. We love exploring Minneapolis and St. Paul, going on long walks, trying new restaurants, and just enjoying the outdoors!
